Ravi retired as Group President and Chief Business Development Officer of NSE in July 2022. He was head of Regulatory function of NSE for 11 years and then led the Business development function of NSE for 10 years.

As head of regulatory function, Ravi established standard operating procedures for Inspection, Surveillance and investigation functions of NSE. Ravi led NSE efforts to implement data and statistical models for isolating market abuse practices. As the head of business development and new products, Ravi was instrumental in bringing innovative products and tweaking existing products to make them user friendly that eventually led to phenomenal growth of equity and equity derivatives Markets.

Ravi handled the interface with the Government and the Regulators and played a critical role in creating a conducive environment for the growth of capital markets in India.

Ravi led the teams that established NSE-SGX connect, NSE International Exchange, NSE International Clearing Corporation, International Depository and International Bullion Exchange in GIFT City.

Ravi also headed the marketing and corporate communications areas of NSE and handled various campaigns that successfully launched products and services. Ravi has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, an Advanced Diploma in Management and attended advanced management programs at IIMs, ISB and Kellogg School of Management. Ravi is an Associate Member of Indian Institute of Bankers and a Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist.

Mr. Prasad is a career regulator who served as Executive Director of SEBI from 2017 to 2023. Prior to working 30 years with SEBI, he also worked with RBI. Mr. Prasad has wide ranging experience of capital markets particularly in the areas of Market Regulation, Risk Management, Surveillance, Investigation and Securities Issuance.

Mr. Prasad served as a director on the board of IFSCA (unified regulator for IFSCs) and on the board of National Institute of Securities Market (NISM). He has been a member of various regulatory committees both domestic and international.

Mr. Prasad has a graduate and master’s degree in economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and Delhi School of Economics, respectively. He is also a Master in Public Policy from NUS, Singapore and Columbia University, New York and is certified as a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) by Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), New York.

Aditya is a versatile lawyer with a strong academic record, keen understanding of financial markets, and with experience and interest in corporate law, M&A and corporate litigation.

He has advised clients on a wide range of issues, including in international commercial disputes, private equity and venture capital transactions, Indian securities regulations and Indian initial public offers and general corporate matters.

He specializes in capital markets transactions and on cross-border corporate transactions, including M&As, private equity and leveraged finance.

He started his professional career with King and Spalding LLP, London, and has thereafter worked with pre-eminent law firms in India, including Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Mumbai.

Aditya is a graduate of O.P Jindal Global Law school and a Master’s degree holder from the Institute for Law and Finance, Goethe University.

Ajay Tyagi served as the Chairman of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) from March 2017 to February 2022. SEBI is a statutory Regulatory body with the mandate to protect the interest of investors in securities, and to regulate and promote the development of the securities market.

Before Joining SEBI, Ajay Tyagi had a career spanning about 33 years in the Indian Administrative Service, where he held several senior positions in the Central and State Governments.

He served as an Additional Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, handling diverse areas/subjects like Capital Markets, Investment, Infrastructure Financing, Bankruptcy Resolution, Financial Sector Reforms, Financial Stability Issues, FATF, and Coins & Currency. He was also a Government nominee director on the board of RBI.

Previously, he served as a Joint Secretary in the Ministries of Environment & Forests and Petroleum & Natural Gas. He was also Chairman of the Central Pollution Control Board and Secretary of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board. He was a Government nominee director on the board of directors of BPCL and GAIL.

He served as Additional Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary in the Departments of Finance, Planning, Industries, and Information Technology in the Government of Himachal Pradesh.

Presently, Ajay Tyagi is an Independent Director on the boards of Larsen & Toubro Limited, Hyundai Motor India Limited, Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited, Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Company Limited and Bain capital controlled Novopor Advanced Science Private Limited. He is also a distinguished fellow at Observer Research Foundation.

Ajay Tyagi did his Graduation in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and Post-Graduation in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur. He has also got a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Harvard University.
